Care Instructions

These are the simple steps needed to ensure your piece can be passed down for generations to come.

To clean, hand-wash with warm soapy water & allow it to air dry for 24 hours. Clean off any excess soap or pooling water before setting aside to dry.

All pieces are not to be put in the dishwasher or microwave.

Do not let your piece soak in water for extended amounts of time.

To remove build up or food odor, scrub your item with vinegar or lemon juice. It is a good habit to do this every 3 months or as needed.

With regular use each piece will develop its own rich patina which is normal and intentional.

After some time of use, your piece will need a coat of oil. Simply re-apply your choice of walnut oil, mineral oil,  natural tung oil, or any food-safe oil finish. Lightly wipe the oil on to the piece, allow to sit for 10 minutes, then wipe off any excess oil that may still be on the surface. If your finish/oil of choice has specific directions for application follow them.

Do not use oils such as vegetable or olive oil to re-coat a piece, as those can go rancid over time.
